Another office day. Boss is away for two weeks so wanted to make sure everything was up to date.
The main road I use near up work is shut for 3 weeks while they slot a railway bridge under the road. Traffic chaos everywhere. I took the car, because it's no quicker on the bike.
Not long now until that office closes, thankfully.

A proper Sunday - lazed about, watched a film, took our dog for a walk to the pub, pork dinner, now watching another film and eating an Easter egg

A relaxed 170 mile ride today, nobody had ideas at first so I suggested Willingham Woods, Gaz suggested The Star inn at North Dalton so we made a loop out of the 2 crossing the Humber Bridge as it's free for bikes, and Dave had never been across it.
Our main aim was to stay away from the coast and busy roads as it's a sunny bank holiday, mad crowds and mobile cameras were successfully avoided all day.
Great laughs at my navigation error but it found us some nice country lanes, no lean angle improvements for me today but I am really enjoying the bike now, I've re-calibrated my brain from Big Twin to IL4 so no more looking for low down torque and changing up at 7K rpm, let that thing sing, 7K is where it get's interesting.
The Star Inn was a surprise, the chef is a biker so even though we had missed breakfast he offered to cook us some sausage sandwiches... A full Cumberland sausage ring on a bun with a fried egg and a cup of coffee for £9. Beautiful.
