Sitting at the Isuzu Service Centre.
Had a major service earlier this week and the wagon has a substantial diesel leak. Turns out they cracked a fitting on the diesel rail. Getting fixed now.
Driving 3 hrs up the coast tomorrow so glad I picked it up now, a vehicle fire on the motorway wouldn’t have been much fun!

Screwing around with guitars and figuring out a few EVH guitar tabs for no particular reason.

It was -8 here when I went for my run the other evening. I guess it must be part of getting old, because I can't remember ever having returned from running with my fingers hurting.

A night up the coast to Newcastle with Byron and his mate (another autistic lad) for the night to see comedian Isaac Butterfield. Was for Byron’s 18th.
Really good show and the boys have had a great time.
Feels weird to wake up in a city hotel and not feel completely wrecked
at least the 3 hr drive home will be much easier!

Re: What are you doing today ??
I went to a mountain bike park today.. 1 road closure, 4 floods, 3 fallen trees and they close the park 20 minute after opening.
On the way home it took 3 hrs instead of the standard 1.5hrs.. floods, motorway aquaplaning and some rather silly drivers being silly.
I braved a flood on a roundabout under a motorway bridge... parking sensors were going wild so I estimate it was around 1-1.5ft deep... the SUV behind me didn't give it a go. Wimp.

Re: What are you doing today ??
It's drizzling here, so I'm getting some laundry done, as later in the week is Thanksgiving, and I'll have a ton of other odds & ends to take care of over the course of the week.
I'd really like to get some cycling in, but that ain't happening...I think it's been three or four days since I was last out. Bored.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Not a lot, after a week pain free today was a tough one, my bruise on my shoulder has tripled in size and I don't even know what I did to make that happen, bike repairs are on hold until parts come in at the dealer so it's not that.
Oh I also was told to send in a picture of the ID page of my passport to prove my right to work in the UK, I thought that was an interview thing and I've been there for 2 years 9 months. Sounds like a change of uniform again.
I have at least 10 job applications on the go and no feedback from any of them, companies seem to be holding off until the new year.

Looking for a new TV.
I think I've settled on a LG OLED48C44LA (2024) OLED HDR 4K Ultra HD

Re: What are you doing today ??
By my recent standards it's been a busy couple of days.
Doctors
Opticians and Coffee with my little brother (All 6'7'' of him, I'm 5'10'')
Shopping
And a set of all season tyres for the cage, I don't fit crap but I was surprised at the cost of modern Goodyears (£630), Thinking about it I paid £310 for a pair of bike tyres so I guess double the tyres for near double the cost is not terrible.
This morning, I gave my mother a lift then collected the bike parts from BMW
Now the car's on charge with the charger set to "Solar Boost" Its nice and sunny so the solar panels are giving me some free miles.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Good choice. The C series is the sweet spot. I wouldn’t have anything other than OLED currently.
