42 days so far.... Well that's as long as the long term tests lasted (I think the days are right but happy to be corrected)

It says they were monitored for 2 months after their 2nd injection so we can assume 3 months total.
The cynic in me can clearly see that from the manufacturer's perspective, the more limited period of immunisation potentially offers far greater long term profitability.?
But then if you can sell the idea of two doses per vaccination, that's not actually a bad start is it.?

And then there's mutation.
How targeted is the vaccine and will it still be effective if (or more likely when) the virus mutates?

I imagine there's going to be plenty of time to get into a flap (see what I did there) about the mutant variant when Cv19 meets the country's resurging Avian Flu.?
Perhaps the UK will be be showing the rest of the world their lead, once again.??

Here in Aussie we are waiting to see how many in the UK grow two heads first.
When it does roll out here, I’ll have to get it to be allowed to travel to work and back “internationally”. I guess it should remove all the quarantine I’m currently doing.

I know the French medical system had recommended not taking anything that claims to boost the immune system once you felt unwell. This was some months ago.
In other news my mum has been given her appointment next Friday for her first vaccination. I've not heard of anyone else receiving an appointment so far.
More than 5 people have confirmed cases of Covid at my place of work - all of them in the Production teams. They're in "bubbles" so everyone is isolating 7 days if confirmed or 10 days if unconfirmed.
I've not been in more than once in the last 2 weeks and I won't be going back in before Christmas if possible, I'm not unnecessarily increasing mine and my families risk.
That's a lot. My mate is in Bristol and he knows a lot of people who have tested positive for it in the last month. He's refused to go into the office (he's supposed to go in 2 days a week).
