folded the mirrors in, closed my eyes and weaved through the stationary Brum traffic.
There had been an accident in one of the central tunnels.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Charged the bloody battery as it died on me 30mins before a observed ride with a IAM observer...not happy had to ring the guy to reschedule. Bought a Motobatt instead hoping the charge will last longer as the alarm seems to be able to drain a fully charged battery inside 6 days...prob less [ANGRY FACE] not sure if there's a prob with the bikes electricals or if it is just the battery is crap for the alarm. Any help would be an advantage here!?

That depends. I know you're security conscious following your previous bad luck.
I know from previous experience that the Datatool3 is a pig on batteries but the 4 is good.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Busy day today, had both wheels out, stripped down and cleaned to within an inch of their lives, also washed behind the swinging arm and forks while they were out and got the new colours on the wheels ready to match my fairings when they get here, also got the rear brake light wired up to the new rear sets which need some adjustments to be spot on, brakes all cleaned and serviced including being bled so busy but should be worth it once it's all done!
Remember: If in Doubt use Full Throttle, It may not make the situation any better, But it will end the suspense...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Went out for a little run, if I don't I will go mad.... It's my release. Anyway I have to say it was bloody freezing.
But the jacket did a great job so pleased with that.
But the traffic out there right now is crap! And as the roads are not really getting the chance to dry, they are really slippy on the lines, the overlaps on the Tarmac and the centres, so a good clean overtake is not easy, and you get stuck in the flow!!! Defeats the point of being on the bloody bike.
So took to the B roads and not only were they wet, they were muddy, it was a challenging ride to say the least.
On a positive note, heated grips are the best, bikes electronics were being used to the limit, lol.... A few moments for sure could have ended with me on my arse or in some sort of wild tankslappper if it were not for them. The dash was going nuts flashing all over the place ha ha.
Oh yeah I made a comment about not feeling the wind at x mph on the R compared to a fully faired RR for example. Well today I felt it, it must be the temp or the pressures or something as it was not overly windy but I could feel it today lol.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Went to it to start it up for a ride. It started...just so decided to see if it would start again and nope all I heard was a click...Bloody battery is dead again! Put another battery in - slightly more powerful but seeing if it dies - if it does then the alarm must be taking too much current...when tested it is taking 0.02 amps when alarm is off when it is set it takes 0.03 amps - is this a lot or normal amount of anyone can help?
