Lol, I learned last night that my baby brother (who lives in Spain, just outside Barcelona) is taking his family to France for the holiday this year.
It's soooo damned unfair, you Europeans can just go where you want when you want... (envy)

Not exactly true. As I understand it, even being a registered resident in an EU country, Brexit means you are still restricted to 90 days out of 180 in all other EU countries bar the one you are resident in if you hold a British passport or apply for a long stay visa.

Labour probably lost my vote yesterday when they said they had no plans to go back on the Brexit vote.

Thanks for the clarification mate. :)

Fwiw my brother is officially a "Spanish citizen". He became one over 10 years ago. I felt that Cookie' would had opted to become a fully fledged Eurofrog some time in the past, but presumably I was wrong. Sorry.!

If you are a citizen it’s an entirely different matter but holding a British passport means you are still restricted to 90 days in 180 in the rest of the EU regardless of whether you are resident in another EU country or not.

One day I hope the younger generations of the UK will see what how this Government has restricted their movement and options and reverse it.

My brake hose has worn through the outer gear cable on my mountain bike..... so I made these. They're 3 individual pieces printed as one meaning the clips can rotate and tilt independently of eachother.

Went cycling and managed @ 25 miles today, at least that's what my phone is telling me.... it's a little bit more than I've done in a long, loonng time.
I feel surprisingly good afterwards, all things considered. It's a bit warmer than I would have preferred, but there's nowt I can do about that.

To be honest, I almost want to go and do it all again. Maybe tomorrow.

Those cable clips did exactly what I wanted and didn't budge a millimetre on the cables. Feel free to get in touch if you ever have a small 3D Print Project :)

I'm aware but I could design and print them in less than 1 hour and they cost 13p each.

Last night I got an unexpected invitation to an Italian car show at Raby Castle so today I did that, the ticked included a tour of the castle so it wasn't all cars and sunburn (despite some factor 30), there was also freshly cooked Pizza and some rocket fuel spec Italian coffee.

I had a great time and learned a lot about the Fiat 500E, mostly that it ticks many of my boxes except one, interior space,

Bridge is open!

So our Sunday consisted of lunchtime movies with all the kids, lunch and some clothes shopping for my giant of a son. Then home for a bit, then out to dinner with some friends and their kids. 2 families, 12 people lol. They are a blended family too and the first time all our kids have met. All got on well.

Nice to be able to get out and about again.

Hmmm....it's barely 6.00am and I've already rescued the cat from the roof. And I have the claw marks to prove it . Dickhead cat....I think he got me on the neck.
If there was a well handy I'd throw him down it.

Could have saved yourself the hassle and booted it off the roof.
