Nice buy. Should be a lot of fun. I want to try some motocross again but this time in the wet and mud.

Not been on much recently (or anywhere, no time ). Sorry to hear of your little mishap Blade, but like you pointed out maybe it just wasn't meant to be mate. Trust you're healing up well enough.?

Cracking looking mudplugger you've treated yourself to Rocket, just the ticket for this time of year. Now you can now genuinely look forward to motorcycling in the snow. (nod)

Cheers guys. Can not wait to have a go on it but bit nervous as the last few times on a mx bike were not my finest. Going to try and get it road registered seems that the law has changed recently as they now need proof that the vat has been paid. So it's more of a pain in the bum.

Popped the back wheel back in tonight, and put the original screen back on for the winter rides...
Bit of luck I get to scrub the tyre in a little if its dry.

Got the tracky all back together. Well except for fitting the chain as I forgot to get a joining link.

Something really satisfying fitting new bearings and seals. I did all of them in the swingarm while I was at it.

It will sound the same as mine i think. All the silencing is in the cat box so you have to remove that for the fully monty.

Yep. I don't think it will be long before its nigh on impossible to change the can on a new bike. You can buy a Termi race system for the Multistradas up to 2014 but next year's new bike they only do a road legal version.

Yep to be honest it sounds surprisingly not loud, but like has been said the CAT is choking the life out of it. Don't know if I want to go down the de cat route tbh. Well not until it's out of warranty at least.

Removing the decat seems to make them oppressively loud, Mick.

It doesn't have quite the same 'Ducati' sound as the sportsbikes.
