Funnily enough we just had a big mental health education session last time offshore. But all lip service. A week later they changed our shifts from 3 weeks to 6 weeks with no dialogue with us thy are actually doing it
I'm happy to say my company has been great on mental health for me over the last 2 years with Sarah's illness. Not sure there are many companies that would have supported me through it as they have. The head of HR lost her brother to suicide when she was very young so it's something she takes very seriously.

Her idea to deal with my stress was for me to take 2 weeks off then go back to doing the same thing. She's cancelled the follow meetings I've had in the diary.
Obviously not qualified to do that role.... whats her qualifications for this role?

Bet it's a BOJO lockdown.

Old people and politicians stay at home, kids goto school and everyone else goto work. Just don't use public transport, don't sneeze, and for god's sake don't goto the pub. We already know the virus mainly spreads in the pub, but only after 10pm.

I said it was coming again, we just follow Europe a few weeks later.
Seems now the woman between 18 and 40 are higher than others being admitted to hospital at the moment.

Inevitable unfortunately.

Why Johnson thinks being British makes us more immune is beyond me. He is a very sick joke of a PM.

It doesn't make us more immune, just more expendable.

There's stuff all over the web this morning about a British study that suggests any immunity people have against coronavirus wanes after @ 3 months....thereby ushering in another wave, I guess.

There is still a difference between no resistance and a waning resistance to any virus.

Scary thing on the radio just is that if the Government does nothing now they estimate around 4000 deaths per day at the peak of this wave.

So Johnson is now over an hour late with his press conference. Running scared?

Any decent business would have sacked him by now.

That would mean that you have a tremendous number of people who aren't "decent" simply because their beliefs differ from those of others - within the confines of mainstream politics, that is.
Do you really believe that??

I do believe that but not for the reasons of my previous comment.

This country is one fvxked up place and the people in charge were never a good option. The alternative wasn't perfect but I did feel that Corbyn at least had compassion.

Many of us could see him for the egotistical chancer that he has always been. He has no leadership skills whatsoever.

Were he from a much poorer background he would be labelled a chav.
