Got the shock of my life yesterday when late in the afternoon NSW Health called me and told me they are giving me my compassionate exemption!!!
Only problem is the situation in the NT has changed since I applied and I now have an application in for exemption to the NT Health with the support of NSW Health.
So a very small chance I may get out of prison early.
I also have a direct contact at NSW health and she had said as long as the platform stays COVID free I would be issued an exemption prior to leaving the platform each trip.
Fingers crossed I can get the same sensibility from NT Health and get back to my people and continue to support my son with his therapies.

I thought masks in shops were compulsory so I'm wearing one.
None of the staff in JD Sport or Foot Asylum did though

Whats the cracking there, surely it can't be just customers wear masks

If they have the same workers on shift then it's classed as a bubble. I think it's a stupid rule to be honest.

Retail staff now have to wear face masks
It's going to be interesting seeing how many people continue not to wear one.

In our local shop just now, most staff wearing masks, but still some customers not. One 30 something Doris was just wandering about aimlessly without a mask ignoring all one way signs and social distancing.

I have no idea what the guidelines are anymore. I carry one around with me...if I see other people wearing them then I pop it on. Half the people around here seem to be doing the same. The other half are a bunch of mask-Nazis.

I dont want to wear a mask and can understand others not wanting too, but thats a personal choice and unfortunately I haven't actually been given one, so I toe the the line and wear a mask.
I absolutely hate them and I'm not convinced scientific evidence supports their use, but I wear one because that's the right thing to do and makes others feel better and its not all about the individual.
Given the choice I wouldnt wear one, but I haven't been given a choice, so if I can comply so should others.

Where I am in quarantine if I step of my small balcony without a mask on it’s a $5056 fine. Same as not keeping 1.5m from others

If it helps in any way to reduce the chances of spreading a virus, any virus, then I'm happy to wear one.
Unfortunately we live in a time where people's own opinion and sense of self worth is more important than the health and wellbeing of others. Strangely enough a lot of these people who insist they can't wear a mask for health reasons look like they're one BigMac away from a heart attack or stroke.

When I’m home I wear one whenever I’m off my property. I don’t want to be the one that takes it offshore.
Jess works in retail but they aren’t expected to wear one. I bought good quality comfortable reusable masks with replaceable filters so she can wear one and be as comfortable as possible all day.
Unfortunately they turned up the day after I left so I’ve had to endure the cheap disposable ones this whole time.

I was at a conference last week, and all the venue's staff & waiters were wearing masks without exception.
I asked one of the drinks waitresses & she told me that they had all been instructed to wear masks as soon as they arrived for work, and not to do so was enforced by being sent home immediately. She also told me that it actually felt quite normal to her now, and that seeing colleagues without their mask on "now just looks wrong".
Then yesterday I took my mother out for Sunday lunch at a restaurant. Non of the staff were wearing any PPE whatsoever & they were all milling from table to table where the customers were all eating (obviously without masks). I did stay because I'd booked well in advance & there a waiting list there, and I didn't want to disappoint the old battleaxe. However I was singularly unimpressed.
Imho whilst the rules are open to interpretation & exceptions, there will be plenty who choose to to do the least they can in order to comply.

Wearing a mask should be mandatory for the time being. No one wants to wear one but if it means we can carry on doing certain things and the NHS does not get overloaded then it’s a small price to pay.

Hopefully this Facebook link works

Question 4 , 5 and 6 are interesting to say the least, especially question 6.
Is testing for Coronavirus different to testing for covid19???

Covid 19 is the current form of Coronavirus.
I'll try and ignore the fact you've linked in a Facebook post that starts off referring to "AWOKE PEOPLE".
1. Good question
2. Because it's being used as a vehicle to erode our civil liberties
3. It has. Loads of times and around the world
4. To keep the workloads down. It was quicker, cheaper and easier than to have each death go for an autopsy and possible coroners court
5. The Government sent the elderly to care homes to make room in the hospitals. They didn't want them back in the hospitals.
6. I have no idea which tests are being used and what virus markers are used in the tests. I doubt she does either.

Second paragraph is concerning if correct. It implies you could get a covid positive result if you have a cold???
Is that correct?

Yeah sorry about the AWOKE PEOPLE bit
Not saying I agree, or feel AWOKE, just thought some valid questions raised that I would also like to know the answer too
