That sounds very fair! Now you get some actual time off at home!!!kiwikrasher wrote:6 weeks is made up of 1 week company pre-offshore quarantine, full COVID test at start and finish, 3 weeks offshore, 2 weeks govt quarantine here and another two COVID tests.C00kiemonster wrote:6 weeks.... Wow. That including quarantine periods? Are they paying you during quarantine?kiwikrasher wrote:Finding out that our roster is getting changed to 6 on 6 off to incorporate the ongoing quarantine requirement on entry back to Australia.
That’s going to be a tough 6 weeks...
It’s all paid but because we are working even time when normally we are a 40/60 split, there is 8.4 days of OT built into that as well.
What are you doing today ??

Well despite government advice to be work from home if you can. Triumph have decided that it doesn't apply to them and the measures they have taken to protect from it (a bit of hand sanitizer, and 1 way system for the stairwells) is enough to prevent any transmission of Covid.
I'm glad they take our health seriously.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Told the ex fibs.
Initially I was flying home Thursday as we were expecting to get out after lunch and the only Wednesday flight to Sydney leaves at 11. But today got told the company has managed to negotiate us out a few hours earlier so now I’m flying home Wednesday. But I’ve not corrected the ex and told her.
Kids are on school holidays so if I let her know I’m back a day earlier I’d get them first thing Thursday. But I’ve decided I’m going to have a day for myself and go for a ride somewhere, stop for a decent lunch and cider and enjoy some freedom.
Kids will be with their Nan and getting spoilt rotten so it won’t faze them and as much as I want to see them ASAP I think I’ll be in a better headspace for having a ‘me’ day.

Been given a new shape 3 series for the week. Nice car, but best bit is see that little circle on the dash just inside the rev counter.
Its G force meter
and my new game is to keep it maxed out as much as possible whether it be accelerating , braking or cornering
addictive as hell

No BMW marked the paint when it was with them, so I said they can put it right. Suits me to have a decent loan car for the week, as im off on a course next week.

Packing tarantulas.
I've sold a load of my adult females. So I've got to catch them and pack them safely so they're not hurt in transit
