II'm out tonight after work so I took the car in. So glad I did. The weather was very cold, wet and windy. Not ideal biking conditions.

I was hoping for a ride today as forecast didn't look to bad over the weekend. But walking the kids to school your right Kwacky, cold, wet and windy so postponed the ride and doing jobs instead.

If you want ot test your bike's suspension, why not bounce over a fallen branch at 40 mph?
A little country lane I use. It's dark with overhanging trees. As I turn a corner I just make out something dark in the road but I can't avoid it. Bike goes over it, both wheels get air, bike does a quick pogo then soon settles down. Unlike the rider.

Took the RSV over to Newbury for a fettle from the Aprilia Performance team. As always it's a good day, and I'm glad I had the chilli's yesterday as the farting competition was up to it's usual standards
The rear suspension has been improved, but still needs looking at. Apart from that the only other issues with the bike where a cracked collector (quite common apparently) and dirty throttle cables. Not bad for a 10 year old bike. Going to run it up to AP early next year to get the rear suspension sorted once and for all.

Is that an RnG cover? Mine has lasted years.
Not ridden the bike again. Had to use the car for work yesterday and today I had to bring the files back into the office so it's easier to drive than ride.

Took delivery of some custom made swing arm bobbins for the track bike. Means I only have to use the cups when taking the rear wheel out.
Did feel sorry for the RSV as its looking a little dirty after the service day. Will try and get it out for a wash over the weekend.

It's all very well having a mistress but you need to make sure the wife isn't neglected.
