Re: What are you doing today ??
Safe trip indeed! Seems like only a week ago you were trapped in your hotel room.. Hope this stint goes quick.
I've been modelling our new scales and a framework to support and stack them. I'm 80% of the way done but I'm sure there'll be adjustments required when we actually receive the scales and I measure them. I also modelled the calibration area where these are going so I can position them all properly. We have scales going up 1.5 ton coming in. We already have some up to 3 ton.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Sounds similar to where I am, but we don't have huge offices, the building is small and normally very crowded but they have limited number of personal so that helps.

We run hot desking at work. We've got 75% of the seats needed for the work force.
I can't see us being encouraged back into the office any time soon.

Re: What are you doing today ??
I was intrigued as to the cost of getting my bike back on the road... £30 MOT, £100 or whatever it is on tax.... then I got an insurance quote. I don't think commuting by motorcycle is a feasible solution ![Big Smile :D](./images/smilies/emoticon-0102-bigsmile.gif)

The Versys... it was painful and a non-starter for me. May as well order track fairings cause this bike isn't seeing the road !

Re: What are you doing today ??
1 claim 3 years ago (the verdict angers me immensely) and no NCB because I haven't had the right type of insurance for more than 2 years.
I'm sure if I rang up my old insurer and explained the situation I'd get a significantly better quote by £100 or so but even then, I'm not spending that much.

£600+ quid is a lot of money.
You could keep your car clean for 4 months with that sort of dough![Laughing out loud (lol)](./images/smilies/emoticon-0140-rofl.gif)

Haha.. don't. I nearly bought a trolley last night before I reigned myself back
I paid that much for insurance on this bike when I was 20 years old.. being 26 I don't fancy paying that again.

If you want to commute on a bike and its a shortish distance buy a scooter or a Royal Enfield Himalayan.
