Re: Aprilia RS660
It reminds me of that pared-down super-rare Kawasaki ultra-bike....can't remember the name of it.

Re: Aprilia RS660
They seem to be having a lot of problems with these bikes. There's a big batch of them with failing ECU's.
There's a batch of bikes with an engine fault which means they need the valves and top ends worked on. The bikes currently in dealers are being blocked for sale until they've been checked over and the head office have approved them.

Good they're doing something about it. We're seeing this sort of thing far too often at the minute as companies are missing vital inspections or rushing them through just to try and avoid fines for late delivery. So many sub standard materials are being used, cheap fasteners, missing spring washers, the lot. Our QA team is working overtime to try and rectify supply issues.

Lots of problems with the new Tigers as well. Looks like some companies are rushing things.

Re: Aprilia RS660

They finished building it friday night , still has stock rearsets and some other bits , they are waiting on race parts from Aprilia ( no surprise there) and they made the bellypan themselves . It looked composed on circuit and won its races .

Re: Aprilia RS660
To do that on stock rearsets is impressive to be fair! The way they lift up when you reposition your foot on every corner is a nasty thing to get used to and work around

It's a step above the vom-green antifreeze bike (what isn't?).... but the stars & stripes theme has been done before by Ducati.
Not to mention countless rednecks.

No point doing it in the Indian tricolour if the series was in the USA
