Re: What are you doing today ??
The ladies race was a mixed class , there were battles going on but the winner was easy a second a lap quicker than everyone - Kayla Barrington .
All the other racing was very good , as I said there were some very quick lads there from roads and BSB , worth a trip out to watch for the day for sure .
They have a class for 765's that are run as either a streetfighter/naked or with daytona bodywork , they run with the 1000cc newcomers .

Struggling for motivation..
I've noticed it's lower when I've had a busy and productive weekend/evening so I need to work on taking more time for myself.
What do you guys do when you're down on motivation? Any tips or hints for me to try?

Dexies sound decent ![Yes (y)](./images/smilies/emoticon-0148-yes.gif)
Blade, I ran out a number of years ago to be honest with you.
I try to force myself through it but find myself staring at my screen mindlessly all to frequently. I'm getting work done just not as much as I need to

Re: What are you doing today ??
I've had a lovely family day out at Alton Towers. I thought it was going to be shit, it took almost an hour to get into the car park.
Thankful the park wasn't that busy and Sam had got some fast track cards.
It was nice doing silly things. The kids might be growing up but we've had fun.
Overall a very enjoyable long weekend.

Re: What are you doing today ??
I don't envy that. I'm knackered with one 16-hour shift on a Friday after four 8.5hr shifts. Downside for me is my work is all little bitty jobs, nothing I can really sink my teeth into.Blade wrote:Try finding motivation on day 14 of 16 hours shifts all of which have been frantic

Re: What are you doing today ??
I ll be honest Cav I'm broken.
My knees fooked (cartilage op needed) and I have spondylothesis Grade 2 in my lower back which is playing up and I ve had to try and sleep with a Tens machine on to numb the pain, just to get a few hours sleep, before starting the 16 hour ground hog day again.
Fook I need a beer and a very long lie down
neither of which are an option till Saturday at the earliest ![Swearing (swear)](./images/smilies/emoticon-0183-swear.gif)

Re: What are you doing today ??
Bloody hell mate.. are you booked in for the op? I understand knee pain although I'm lucky to have avoided major damage to my cartilage. I'm guessing there are certain rules on pain relief where you work, or at least certain types of pain relief?

Re: What are you doing today ??
I've had one knee done but then other has just started playing up. It's a simple Op and I'm with bupa so not worried about the knee too much, it's more an inconvenience at the moment.
The spondylothesis is worrying me though. I've lived with it for about 15 years and with moderating my activities coped till now but it's becoming that invasive in my life at the moment I m giving very serious thought to biting the bullet and getting a spinal fusion

Re: What are you doing today ??
Our Ops Manager used to play high level football until he needed his spine fused, it stopped him playing footy but his day to day life is much better ever since. Without googling it I know nothing about this but I know there are various spinal injections for various issues, is there anything like this you can do with your problem?

Re: What are you doing today ??
I've had a fantastic response to the work I did on the ladies race at the weekend , not sure if ladies are more appreciative or the fact that they are all available unwatermarked and for free that has prompted the great response , I'm choosing to believe its because I'm awesome .
