Re: What are you eating ??
Last night went to a Asian restaurant. I was a tad apprehensive as I don't like many foods and can't stomach spicy food! So turned up and took a look at the menu and of course it was all spicy. I had to scan the menu time after time and could only see sweet and sour chicken, ok I thought not prefect or even good just I could fill my belly with it.until the sales guy who was hosting g our trip saw duck on the menu. He suggested having that (said it was very good) I initially thought its just fat with a bit of meat but I ordered it and wow what a taste. Sauce prefect and the duck was just pure meat. Ate it all[FACE SAVOURING DELICIOUS FOOD]

Re: What are you eating ??
Apparently before I came out here the Galley staff decided to mix it up on friday and DIDN'T serve fish and chips. The Ops Super on that night went spastic saying he'd had fish and chips on fridays for 10 yrs and they better by bloody find some to cook him. It's never been missed since!Blade wrote:Some things never change and its good that they don't, enjoy them kiwi

Fish Friday. With garlic roasted new potats, buttered carrots and roast vine tomatoes. And a bottle of wine. Got another one chilling along with 4 cans of Red Stripe.

Mrs Gee can't make them at any speed, not unless we want them burnt, raw or as a face mask.Blade wrote:Fresh pancakes straight out of the pan. The missus can't make them quick enough

Re: What are you eating ??
Old school prawn cocktail and then a "Louisiana" chicken burger, fries and a side salad, not sure how it's supposed to be from the American South when it's also advertised as using Piri Piri sauce as the flavouring....
It was very nice despite the geography issues, and I washed it all down with a nice ice cold pint of Thatchers.
