Watched Band of Brothers last night. Still the best TV programme even made IMHO.

Re: What you watching?
Duke I have the series I make it a yearly thing that I watch all of the episodes. Absolutely astonishing. The amount of research the actors did to play the real life people was incredible. Only know this because of the extras, don't usually watch the extras to be honest but BoB I felt like needed to.

Re: What you watching?
Yes very enjoyable Deegee.
What did disappoint though is the crowd booing Fromme as he ascend Alpe d'huez. He has just won the premier cycling event in the world and therefore deserves the respect of being the world's best cyclist imo.
He is a dedicated and professional athlete as well as a very nice guy. It disgusts me that people are bunching him, spitting on him and throwing pi$$ on him. If you want to spectate any sport not least the best in the world respect the people who are doing it and entertaining you.
The people behaving like idiots should be prosecuted imo.

Re: What you watching?
I wouldn't put it past Quintana to have a pop tomorrow, it'll be worth watching to see if either of them have got anything left in those tired legs, also to see if Cavendish has still got it in a year where the sprints have been eclipsed by some epic climbs and descents.

Missus and kids are out. Bike gear is drying from my earlier ride. Sat in the kitchen with an espresso and making a bacon and egg buttie whilst watching f1. Blizz

Re: What you watching?
Not watched it yet as waiting for the highlights show at 7pm but thought it was a done deal regards overall classification. Isn't there a riders agreement where the last stage into Paris is just a procession for gc.Deegee wrote:I wouldn't put it past Quintana to have a pop tomorrow, it'll be worth watching to see if either of them have got anything left in those tired legs, also to see if Cavendish has still got it in a year where the sprints have been eclipsed by some epic climbs and descents.
Really hope the manx missle can deliver on the Champs Elsysees.

Re: What you watching?
It's the tradition for the final stage to be a procession, but there's nothing to stop a team wanting a race

Re: What you watching?
Don't follow. The sprinters will go for the stage win but the GC was decided yesterday and its a formality riding into Paris today for Froome.
