Started fitting the new discs then realised I haven't got any loctite left. Left everything loose fit, will get some loctite tomorrow and finish the job. They do look good though.

They look nice d6nutz....
So today I fitted a speedo healer to the zx636 i bought it when I changed the sprockets years ago . However I lost the instructions I managed to find some on the net and tried setting that up today got an app for my phone to give me gps speed then went out to get some figures. Entered the figures in the website so speedo was reading 60 and I was doing 50 according to the app. It gave me a value and instructions on how to enter it. I'm impressed how simple it was to use tested it out and seems to be spot on.
On the down side when I was out on the first run the gear linkage decided it no longer wanted to be attached to my rear sets so had to fanny on at the side of the road. Adjust the rear sets when I got home and thread locked the gear linkage hopefully it's all good went out for a test blast and seemed all ok.

Spent the afternoon in the garage sorting out the NC29's charging problem(s). Drained the oil and popped the clutch/generator cover, only to have one of those "Doh" moments. I hadn't ordered a replacement gasket for the cover. Anyhow, continued to remove the cover, and low and behold....fault #1

Fitted and wired in replacement generator, swapped the rectifier for a new item charged and fitted the new battery and oil filter.
Just waiting for the gasket to arrive, pop the oil in and fire it up to make sure it charges.

1) Jon - Nice discs
2) roadrace -
should be able to get rewound?
3) Found a new place for the next ride out, I will call it the mystery tour, put it this way it is about 38 mins from Lucy's if we did a straight run, its a nice place, good roads surrounding it.
A Clue

That car behind, the sporty range rover had a plate SU15JET, i thought that was cool, never saw Susie or the jet, lol.

I've been offered a pass for this weekend. Up for a ride out if there are a few others about.

Left it at home. Forecast looks crap for this afternoon and the roadworks outside my house make it difficult to get in and out.

OK mate, unless something major happens on the home front I am in - Obviously weather will be a factor.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Thread locked the new disc in and torqued everything back up again. If the weather is looking good then I'm going to take it into work to test them out and start bedding them in. Hoping to go to the gym after work as well which should give me a decent run.
