Really, really sorry to hear this, my old Cocker developed a brain tumour poor little thing, it was the hardest thing I've ever gone through. My oldest lad was completely in bits.
I can sympathise completely Cookie, thinking of you and yours.
I've just finished my 1st day in my new place, feeling more than a little overwhelmed, plus the guy training me was a right numpty and is leaving so didn't really help, tomorrow one of the bosses is training me so hopefully that will give me a much better idea of what I'm doing
Remember: If in Doubt use Full Throttle, It may not make the situation any better, But it will end the suspense...
Very sad to hear this Cookie, but expect that nothing we can say can appease.
IMO the worst thing about pets is the heartache you suffer when they become ill or die. It kills me every time mate
Emptying the contents of the garage on to the garden and then putting it back in tidily, I've got to make some more space in there and I'm selling a rear light that I put in a "safe place", which means of course I can't find it.
Cookie,
so sorry to hear the sad news, it is one of the worst things owning any kind of pet to have to go through this .
Just remember how good times were and hopefully have lots of happy memories and a few more to come in the next few months if health doesn't deteriorate too quickly.
From our animal house to your animal house lots of hugs x
Live each day as your last as one day you'll be right !!
Been out for a long walk with him this morning in the sunshine, had a chat with him and we are good at the moment. He's starting to recover from his operation and looks happy at the moment, so we will just take it a week at a time.
He's happy, so I am and we will see how long it lasts. He loves it here in the middle of nowhere.
I'll have my sadness when he does leave us,whenever that is. He will tell me when he's ready
Did the same with my last Dane, she was getting ever closer and when we had made our minds up we had one last walk together then came home and spent a few hours saying our goodbyes until the vet came out. Ever peaceful and a very sad day.
But yours is still here and enjoying the walk by the sound of it and not in too much pain.
Live each day as your last as one day you'll be right !!
Sorry to hear your sad news Leigh, hope you get a lot of good memory's in and share some quality time together and the big guy stays strong for a long time.
What I did last night was to get out and take some moon shots... the next moon like this will be Oct 8th I believe. https://www.facebook.com/FrankieArt" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I guess it's always a challenge, in a new role. Settling in any better now mate.?
Arguing with someone about a contract their client relies on but they won't give me a copy. Idiots. These are supposed to be trained professionals I'm dealing with.
