Re: Triumph 765 Daytona Moto2 Limited Edition
Triumph are buying old 675s to convert them into 765s. I reckon you'll get about £10k for yours.

Due to be sen at Silverstone tomorrow for the first time. Think Hickman is doing a few laps on it.

Re: Triumph 765 Daytona Moto2 Limited Edition
I did read the other day it was scheduled for 730pm but assumed that was a typo as strange time to launch a bike at a motogp event. I.e. after everyone has left and the tv coverage finished for the day but maybe it was correct.

Re: Triumph 765 Daytona Moto2 Limited Edition
If you had a deposit on one it would be like Christmas day and only being allowed to see your presents at 730pm

Re: Triumph 765 Daytona Moto2 Limited Edition
I think it's later so people with invites can get in after work and can get in w/o having to buy a day pass for the MotoGP.

Re: Triumph 765 Daytona Moto2 Limited Edition
I've never been this interested in a parts bin special before

I’m reckoning it will be something special. I’m not convinced there will be a road bike included in the range as a result.

Re: Triumph 765 Daytona Moto2 Limited Edition
Looks too much like the bastard child of a Daytona 675 and the old zx6r with that colour scheme

Re: Triumph 765 Daytona Moto2 Limited Edition
I'm going to say it, my initial reaction is disappointment
I did have a little wobble and thought about getting one briefly but tbh at the moment I'm really glad I didnt.
Doesn't look different or anymore special than the outgoing 675R and it's going to have to ride amazingly to justify that price tag imo, as you can get a mint low mile 675r for half that money and there wont be much difference in power if there quoting 130bhp.
Hope I'm very wrong as I wanted this to be special and joking aside it's a parts bin special. Hope the press is kinder than me as Triumph deserve this to be a success.

Re: Triumph 765 Daytona Moto2 Limited Edition
Mmmmm. IT doesn't grab me particularly. And only 6bhp more then mine and the same torque.
The components on the bike are high spec for the price but I was expecting more of a change in looks. I'll reserve judgement til I see it in Sunday.
