I've got a couple of mechanics on twitter on the case who are going to try and source an engine for me.

Worst case is buying one from the US, but the shipping is about £500.

The engines aren't quite the same I don't think.. pretty sure they have different oil specs and therefore seals for a start. Do your homework on it anyway

found someone selling an engine with 7k on the clock and it's done a few laps of the TT

He wants £1800 for it

I've told him it's £600 more than I want to pay.

he's put it on Ebay at £1,650
