Only colour options were white and black? Good job they are the best colours.
I've done the opposite and declared our car SORN. £280 road tax!!! Feck that, I'm using the bike for a bit.

Good skills. Jumping from a 1.6 Picasso to a 2.0 5 Series with autobox is going to be some change.Spudda wrote:

2 weeks ago I was about to order the Mazda 6 which I'd already tried ... great car plenty of umphhh and 'FamilySpudda' friendly.
I then gets a phone call from my boss asking when my current car is due for change ?
June says I ...
He then promptly tells me to ring the fleet manager as theirs a deal kicking around
Turns out, we have swapped our lease company and as a sweetener, the BMW 520d SE Business Edition was an option.
Went to look at one, sat in one (albeit the M Sport) and it pushed all of the 'FamilySpudda' buttons.
So I ordered one ...
Only criteria was it had to Black or White ... so with my OCD I went White![]()
It was only yesterday I went to test drive one![]()

Tax is a bit steep but then again I have been driving a Picasso 1.6 for the last 3 years.
The tax wouldnt have been such a jump if I'd been in a Mondeo or the like over that period.
But hey, the Spudlets are out of booster seats and the Fun Adjuster has an S-Max so theres no need for 2 family buses.
Just had a delivery date of the 23rd of June

Starting to think about clearing the decks at work as I'm off on holiday soon so I need to make sure everything is in order before I go away.

Know the place well, Stew, being from The Wirral..it's a great hospital...it's also where the Egg Run used to end up, to deliver eggs for the kids and collection money. They treated my Aunty and a good friend there, really fantastic place, can't praise them enough.Stew wrote:Just got back from Clatterbridge hospital on the Wirral, if youre local you'll probably know what that means, the FIL is going in for an op in the morning and is surprising good spirits, which is great bus as we were driving through the main gates there is a banner up reminding people its 'National make a will week' that's must be slightly worrying for any patients going in .....
Wishing your FIL all the very best with the op

Oh yeah, what am I doing today??? Well, I just had my first measurements taken for new leathers...I'm not feeling confident on how this will all pan out, but I guess they know what they're doing...something slightly funny and wrong about standing around in base layers and a back protector lol

Today I will mostly be dealing with a bike v car matter. Looks like the biker was filtering and the car driver switched lanes on the biker.

Surely the big thing in a case like that is how fast was the bike filtering?Kwacky wrote:Today I will mostly be dealing with a bike v car matter. Looks like the biker was filtering and the car driver switched lanes on the biker.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Yep. The speed of the traffic around the biker, the speed of the bike and if there are any side roads are the main factors.

It very early in the case. We've been instructed from the outset to do the initial investigations. It'll be a while before anything happens on it.

Cracking looking dog that Rossgo, is it an Irish Wolfhound.?
I've been working on my hawthorn hedge all day. I had considered going to Snetterton tomorrow, but haven't had time to prep' my bike for track & it's a 3hr + journey so I have now passed my viable journey start time.

No not a Irish wolfhound she is a lot smaller than that but with long legs...she's a jack Russel / poodle! She's one he'll of a runner all other dogs give up chasing/playing as she's too fast!
Have considered getting her into agility courses she's got the pace and personality to do it if only she would have the patience to learn it though!!

Finish this night shift off and then off for 12 nights, going to go to Tesco on the way home and get some beer for later on then lay in bed til I feel like getting up and batter BF4 for a few hours with a couple of beers and my staffie for company, might give the GPZ a wash and tidy up if the weathers dry
