Sitting here waiting for a friend for a pre-dawn MTB ride. Hot-as-fcuk already. I have the feeling this will be a short one.
I get that a lot.

Had a good day yesterday shooting about on zip wires and climbing up and between trees.
My old body is paying for it today though.

Trying to wake up, went out out for the first time in ages and it seems like my body has forgotten how to handle the side effects.
Probably didn't help that I cycled there and back, about 12 miles each way.

Tbh the most strenuous thing I’ve done today is drive to the local minimart and back for essential supplies.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Moving yesterday's post to the correct thread
Today was a quiet one, my dad's car is still broken because the garage he uses is messing about and telling a different tale depending who he speaks to... 3 weeks for a head gasket? On a Peugeot 206, hardly a rare thing that's difficult to get parts for...
If I thought paying them a visit would do any good I would, but it will just slow the job down.
So I have been running errands and taking my mum to do the shopping.

Ordered the new server, 4 hours later it was ready for service so I've started the build. Its a lot faster than the current server

Re: What are you doing today ??
My car's in for the major service today and MOT while they're at it and they have given me a courtesy car, a 2017 CR-V 1.6 diesel.
It drives nice, better than I thought for such a big/tall thing and more grunt than I expected from a 1.6 derv, even though it is twin turbo... And in mainly urban driving with a bit of country lane action it managed 62mpg on my drive home, I'm deeply impressed with it and want one but sadly my budget doesn't stretch to this version. I think it's an EX.
My dad wants a ride in it so I will do that in a bit, other than that I am re-vamping the old CV to see if I can get out of the cab of a bus and still keep creditors happy.

Planning a trip this weekend, just me and the boy in the caravan. Will be the first time we've been away, just us two, and the site is off-grid so first time with no mains power.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Yes to 12 volts, no to solar. We're only going for one night so should be fine on the battery.kiwikrasher wrote:You'll love it! have you got a 12V system and solar?D6Nutz wrote:Planning a trip this weekend, just me and the boy in the caravan. Its just going to be the lack of beer fridge, telly, and phone charging that we'll miss..

Re: What are you doing today ??
What size is your battery? I’ve got 2 x 100ah AGM’s and ciga socket/USB/3.5mm power outlets. Also have 80L 12V fridge. LED lights. So fridge, lighting and phone charging all covered. I put the solar out each day but would last 4-5 days with no charge.D6Nutz wrote:Yes to 12 volts, no to solar.
