Yeah, I saw sommit about that either during the olympic coverage, or a "related article" on the web.

Breakdancing - not a sport imo.

Not even remotely close to being a sport.
A hobby, pastime, etc., but nothing more.

....And if is a sport, then why, of all the various types of dancing that've been around for aeons, does breakdancing get picked first to be an olympic event? If it's an attempt to be "contemporary" then it's about as contemporary as a wet dishcloth.
