Not even remotely close to being a sport.
A hobby, pastime, etc., but nothing more.

....And if is a sport, then why, of all the various types of dancing that've been around for aeons, does breakdancing get picked first to be an olympic event? If it's an attempt to be "contemporary" then it's about as contemporary as a wet dishcloth.

A late-night police vs motorcycle chase.
The suspect, wearing a light jacket & shorts (!!!!) was up there at @ 150mph for much of the time.
In the dark.
Numbnuts.
He should thank God that he eventually ran out of gas & had to surrender.
