Yeah sure is, but he’s been working hard and saved up the purchase by himself and well as having to buy all his gear first and sign up and pay for further rider training. My sister (his mum) used to ride as well in the past so when I suggested that he do some further training made it a prerequisite of the purchase.Kwacky wrote:That's some first bike

Well done to your nephew. He had a dream and chased it, now through hard work that dream is a reality.

Well done to him for getting the extra training too, it will be a massive help and the MT-07 is a great little bike. I started on a CG125, then a SV650... He's off to a great start

Took the big beema out for a bit of a apanking.
Did some of my favourite "I've never been down that road, where does it go?" kind of navigation
The new tyres have bedded in quickly and grip very well.
You can tell how little I've ridden this year... I had to take the thermal lining out of my fitted goretex!

It's a low-angle shot. They add "weight and depth to the subject matter"....or some other technical malarkey like that.

Washed the MV. I got caught out in a few showers on Saturday and the bike actually got dirty. I feel so shamed.

The MV is the easiest and quickest bike to clean so I just use the hose.

How so? Does it have a coating? I guess matte isn't as hard to clean as people say?

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Had to go get a pinkslip (MOT) on the Multi today.
Nearly was all over before it started. Didn’t realise I’d left it in sports mode last ride, out the gate, drop it into a right turn down the hill and accidentally squeezed on way more throttle than cold road and cold tyres could handle, stepped out, traction control grabbed it and put me straight again all before my morning brain even computed what happened.
Though cold the weather was fine so I had an hour detour on the way home via a local bakery. Was nice to throw the big beast about again.
