Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I got a low battery warning for the Honda so I used that as an excuse to move all the bikes about.
The Honda started first time but as I can't give it a run I decided to pop the battery on the optimate. I was cursing Honda for putting the battery in a shit hard to reach place
Then I found a side panel with the battery just behind it .
The battery is on its side to make it easy to get to the terminals. I take it back Honda. Good design.

Nikwax leather cleaner. Its by far the best one i have used. Even cleans any white parts on the leathers.Perkles wrote:What do you use on your leathers Dukeduke63 wrote:Cleaned and fed all my leathers. Nothing left to clean and polish bikewise now.

There is some conditioning it it but i prefer to add some type of conditioning cream as it doesn't seem enough on its own to me.
I've been using the Motul leather conditioner for that. I only add that at the start and end of the season though.

I did the same to mine (powerbronze). The DB screen really suits the bike.

Yesterday I cleaned the S1..... I have never, ever spent this much time and detail on cleaning a bike.... lol.....
If I had cotton buds they would have come out for the hard to reach spots.
I dont know what bloody metal they are using these days for OM chains, but they dont arf rust quick, spent ages cleaning and and re protecting and lubing the chain.... Looks good now

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I've noticed that chains seem to rust very quickly now. Even when they're looked after.
