Feck me that was cold. It was nice, dry and sunny when I left the house. It seemed to get colder and darker as the journey went on.

Obviously lucky down here. It was warm enough that I turned the heated grips off for the first time in weeks.Kwacky wrote:Feck me that was cold. It was nice, dry and sunny when I left the house. It seemed to get colder and darker as the journey went on.
Was a bit wet on the roads though, had a massive spin-up overtaking a couple of cars. That woke me up I can tell you.

Looks like it's time for the tinted visor. Having the sun in my eyes for most of the commute makes filtering a bit more risky.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Found a slight problem, the rear seat won't lock unless I wiggle the relay block, it's catching the release cable so I need to dismantle the back end again to make sure everything is routed correctly. That will keep me entertained for a bit
Done, the ECU had moved up on its rubber mounts but the whole tail of the bike has to come apart to get to it, and one of the new bolts from the shad kit stripped its head, old mechanic's trick got it out without a drill, smack a spline drive bit in there with a medium sized hammer... Is it bad that one whole draw of my toolbox is dedicated to hammers of various sizes and weights?

Yep, I had a full dark visor on this morning. Made overtaking the marked police car doing 40 on the country lanes a bit more fun.Kwacky wrote:Looks like it's time for the tinted visor. Having the sun in my eyes for most of the commute makes filtering a bit more risky.

Pwoah.. snow foam!!
I reinstalled the rad and did the fluids. Looks like I need to drain some oil back out though. Over filled it somehow.
No rush any more.... I dont think my trackday in Spain is going to happen.

A frosty one this morning. The roads seemed as busy as usual.

Roads were very quiet up here. Hopefully that will be a positive from all this, that people realise they can work from home and it can be effective.

There was an early frost here, but it cleared by the time I got in the bike.Kwacky wrote:A frosty one this morning. The roads seemed as busy as usual.
Nice ride on bright sunlight, the roads round here are quieter though.

Dry ride home but still cold. I reckon the traffic was about 20% lighter as well.
I've put the tinted visor on the Nolan.
