Yep I felt the same. So easy to ride in any situation and huge fun. It's more than enough for the roads for me these days.
Spent just as long cleaning it afterwards as I did riding it though.

Jet washed most of the crap of it. Gave the chain a clean and fitted the muck spreader, will be interesting to see how the chain fairs this week's commuting.

Picos De Europa for 10 days. It's all a bit last minute, my Mum came round last week and offered to look after Sarah and the kids over the Easter holidays to give me a break. Naturally, I snapped her hand off!

I was going to swap the heated grips on the Versys for the new ones but the wiring is under the tank. I'll need to do some YouTube research before I go any further

Been spending time putting it back together... also looking to see if MSS can dyno my bike and service my new Ohlins.
The bike will be a real winner and finished in my eyes

Are any of you guys located near the M4 corridor, Oxford or Essex?
I might be taking my bike to MSS for some light performance work soon. If anyone is available do you want to meet up for a coffee and cake?

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Long days riding today, I think at least 350 miles as I've been through two tanks of fuel.
Great day though, I really enjoyed the roads despite the cold and hall.
Very happy with XR and the way it turns from a motorway mile muncher into a country lane blaster and back again. It took it all in its stride as I don't feel a tired as I have done with previous bikes.
