Not sure tbh, as I told the wife to get some fever tree ginger beer and she has come back with FT ginger beer and FT ginger ale.

I could google the difference or try two slightly different cognac cocktails and work it out for myself I'll go with the latter

Quite tasty but the citrus over powers any hint of juniper so not much of a traditionalist gin
