Not good news that you've had to be signed off, but good that you can take a break to clear your head a bit.

Wow Kwacky, frankly it's rather a surprise.
If there's anything I can do ...

First nose bleed in over 20 years, thought I was coming down with a cold and noticed the new guy opposite starring... New tie required...

Might be a tiny bit stressed out, ah well, back to work.

I used to get nosebleeds a lot until about 5 years ago. I used to get some pretty big ones too. I had loads of vessels quaterised in my nose, and that sorted out out.

Yeah same here, got them cauterised again when I had my nose surgery couple of years back.

My daughter is the same, very rarely a couple of weeks go by that she doesn’t get one.

I've not got a proper set up for working at home. As a result my left shoulder and back is all in knots. I really need a proper sports massage to sort it all out. It's quiet painful. I didn't get much sleep last night because I couldn't get comfortable.

I'm the same, but it's in the back of my neck.

And I suppose my working from home has involved more PS4 than my work laptop, that's going to contribute as well. (facepalm)

Get yourself a spiky massage ball if you can and once I get to work tomorrow I’ll scan and email the techniques my physio gave me.

Cheers Kiwi. I've ordered a set of spiky balls. I'll just have to sure they go in the exercise box and not the playtime box. (lol)

Would raising you screen help Kwacky? Hopefully avoid next strain. That and good posture are what I advised my wife as she had similar symptoms and seems to have helped.

Had MRI scans today so hopefully get some answers soon.

Couldnt feel my feet for 3 days at work last week as just totally numb. If I tilted my chin downwards, I got a warm sensation in my left thigh, which felt similar to wetting myself :?

Classic signs of nerve or spinal cord compression which all started 6 months ago when I banged my head at work. Been on 3 different types of pain killers and getting physio ever since, but unfortunately with little success.

This is a very good point

Try to make sure the top of the screen is at eye level. If your on a laptop hook up a keyboard and mouse if you can. Laptops are the worst things one the world for working on long term.

The issue is the seat/table height in the kitchen. The table is tall so my arms are resting on the table, pushing my shoulders up. When I can I work in the living room but sometimes I need to have two screens running which is why I work from the kitchen. The spare room is full of spiders so I can't set up an office in there :D

Good luck with the MRI results. That does sound like some form of nerve issue.

Cheers Kwacky (y)

Would sitting on a firm cushion help raise you up and give better posture/ position at a high work surface?

Yep, that's what I've done. We've got a couple of thick cushions for the bed so I've stolen those.

Small changes can make a big difference. Something I've learnt over the years from my long term back problem.

Hope you see some inprovements (y)
