Re: Helmets
They should be decent enough if they're AGV.
Are they made in the same factory? I did hear the cheaper ones were made somewhere in Eastern Europe. Not sure how true that is.

Re: Helmets
Have a look at the Corsa Ro that's the one I'm interested in and Duke has one which he highly recommends.

Re: Helmets
Or an alternative suggestion is the Shoei NXR great helemt and really good price.
Seen them for £329 with the photo chromatic visor thrown in for free which are normally £120 extra.

Re: Helmets
As long as you buy from a decent well known brand factory standards and quality control should be maintained regardless of what country they are made in

Re: Helmets
Duke I know you have the AGV Corsa but what are your thoughts on the AGV Veloce ?
Basically the same helmet as the Corsa and Pista but more road orientated.
It doesn't have the rear bolt on spoiler and is less pointy at the chin bar but otherwise identical to the pista and corsa helmets.
It has the same venting, the same visor, the same shell and also the adjustable rabbit skull cap but due to a internal liner is not as noisy as the full race pista and corsa which would be a bonus when used all day.

Re: Helmets
Looks a better bet for all day use.
I do like my Corsa but it was bought as a sportsbike only helmet. Quality is great and it it very comfortable once its broken in. The wide visor aperture is such a big safety boon.

Re: Helmets
The Shoei is a medium and the Corsa a M/S. I did have reservations about the Corsa size when i first bought it as it was on the snug side. It has given a little now though, still snug but comfortable.Blade wrote:Cheers for the info Duke

The M/S is a smaller shell size than the M/L, assuming they sell the Veloce in the same sizes.

Re: Helmets
Yes they do the Veloce in a ms and all the same 4 shells that the corsa comes in.
I tried a ml on but felt a bit high on my head but the chaser felt a great fit and looks great in spencer colours imo.

Re: Helmets
The feeling of a being a bit high is partly down to the design, i think. Its meant to sit quite high to give better vision when in a crouch. The only issue i have found is that its not easy to get into my Kriega waist pack when wearing it as its difficult to look down as the chin piece obscures vision.
