150miles up to a place called Jack's Hill Cafe. Smashing route there and back. Unfortunately the run leader had a bit of a mishap out of one of the junctions, think he pulled off on some gravel and threw him off what made it worse was it was a brand new bike 66 plate luckily it was only few scratches but I think he was pretty upset about it.
Some of the roads we went down had caved in and we're not talking about little side roads we are talking some busy B roads. What the feck is our road tax going on they need to be resurfaced it will end in someone's death I'm sure and I bet the council will say it's the persons fault. Fecktards

Repacked the cans on the RSV, sounds better now and should improve again when it's been ridden...

Cleaned all the gasket surfaces off and started a general clean of the engine block.. what a shit job that is! I'm getting sorely tempted to buy a parts cleaner!

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Last ride out on the Multi I discovered the rear light was all loose. So today I took the back end apart to find the attachment points on the light unit had both snapped off.
So I made a couple of aluminum doublers and build it back up with epoxy and re drilled it. Worked a treat.
Then I had a quick run to town and back and embarrassed a gixer rider coming up the windies up the hill

Started today's ride in Sport mode. On the way home I switched to Touring and it felt really flat. Still poke when you wound it on, but not the full on punch of Sport mode.
I think Sport mode will be standard 1 up and Touring when 2 up.
Felt a bit wallowly mid corner a few times today, so planning on fitting the SCU soon and seeing how much difference it makes.
I got the front up twice and the rear up once, I think the ABS kicked in

Of all of the obstacles I've dodged, a bloke stepping out into the road with a lawnmower is the strangest.

Quick bleed of the rear brake, cleaned and lubed the chain, checked tyre pressures.
All ready for the IoM now.

Tonight is oil and filter change night.. going to order some spark plugs too - I'll take those to Spain with me and do them there though.
If I get time I'll bleed the brakes, I don't enjoy it though and also the last time I did them it kept spitting the bleed hose off with a f*ckton of pressure!!! Stupid Brembo

Rode it into work to make sure it still goes... It does
Later I will be packing it up with stuff and riding up to Cannock. Don't fancy a 4:30am start tomorrow so in staying in a hotel overnight.

Went for a good couple of hours riding around south Warwickshire and Northants trying to get rid of the chicken strips but I don't think I have the skill/bollocks to get right to the edge. Ah well, still enjoyed the ride

Nice day for it.
Washed and lubed the bike and chain.
Had a practice to fit the Oxford tailpack. Seems straightforward enough. I'll find out tomorrow if it's stable.

Spanked it up the motorways to Cannock.
Motorways are dull and people drive like twats. Still, it will all be worth it..

Jumped on it to go down the road and get some milk. The weather was glorious and I got distracted. Made it home with the milk and hour and half later ( got the milk on the way home, no I didn't do the whole ride with it in the tail bag!)

Loaded it up and headed north. I'm at the services now waiting for the other two.
The tail bag has stayed on so that's a promising start.

Wobbled it through done very wet and windy roads on the IoM. The weather is set to be better tomorrow, so hopefully get some proper bike time in.
