Spent the middle 4hours of the day climbing and walking about 7 miles in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Proper hardcore stuff with ascents/descents of up to and including 50-60°, all on slippery grass and loose rock with a fair bit of sheep sh*t mixed in as well. But looking out from the summit made it all worth it, we were looking down on the Red Kites that were soaring on updraughts.
Possibly one of the best feelings I've had since I got my legs fixed.
The icing on the cake was Mini Gee and his mate, who complained a fair bit on the way up, then when at the top being blown away by (1) what we'd achieved, and (2) the view we had of three valleys from where we were. Tired now, but well worth it, off for a drink and something to eat later, and I'll try to put up a pic if the terrible wifi will let me.
