sucker brotherMonty wrote:I stopped for a Landrover Discovery on the Cat and Fiddle a few months ago. Rear wheel had come off and he was suck blocking the road on a really tight blind bend.
Called the cops and started directing traffic while the owner fecked off to a near by house to call the AA.
A few near misses later the cops turn up and set off to the house to find the owner leaving me to sort the traffic.
Half an hour later the b@stard turned up drinking a coffee!

Re: Biker in distress
Best one was when my youngest was hit by an uninsured on her ped.
Bike rider behind witnessed it and took the role of caring parent.
He took pics before toe rag sped off so had number plate etc. Picked up her and the bike to see if an ambulance was needed and asked where she was going and he said he'd take her and get her ped back home.
Thankfully she was only bruised but ped was a right off.
Mr Knight in shining armour called me and stayed until I arrived and then gave me his mobile number if we needed him for a witness.
Hats off that man and he wouldn't take any payment , but I was very grateful for his help.
I'd try and stop but if I'm on my own I'll stay on the bike , I won't put myself in a vulnerable position.
Usually I won't be much use but I always have a charged phone on me
