I may try those next on the SX, they're not out yet.
I was chatting to the tyre guy last week. He said that Metz tend to try the new tech first and Pirelli watches. By his account the company have said that Pirelli tyre buyers tend to like a tyre and stick to it so the company lets Metz do the new stuff to see how the market reacts and how the tyres get on.
Im keen to put Metzlers on the Daytona when it's finished, probably the M7's, I really like the Racetec's on the track bike. Be interested to see the reviews these get.
Happiness is not a destination. It is a way of life.

As its dry where you are. Personally I would go for the Racetec RR K3 which is a fast road tyre.
One of the journos in Perfromance Bikes got 3500 miles and a few trackdays out of a set which is pretty impressive imo.

The Racetec Interact K3 lasted me 2000 miles and 2 days on track - I could have eeked another 500 miles but not legally.
It's very affordable, immense grip capable of staying at the top of fast group, they last well, they are VERY predictable and they are actually really good in the rain.
For me the Dunlop Sportsmart is the tyre of choice for the road, however, it's much more expensive and isn't nice in the wet. It does last over 5000 miles though
