Set up is key in any quickshifter, Blade.
A lot of the Ducati forum rave about the work of a guy called Chris at X-Bikes in Cambridgeshire. His q/s set up is apparently the very best.

Tbh ill have to do some more reading on it Duke but I don't believe I need to set it up as it's intelligent apparently.
A mate from the zx10r forum had it on his identical zx10r for 6 months so should be good to go out of the box.
It's the translogic is4 intellishift.

Looking forward to getting it on. The bike sorely needs one and will be a weapon with it fitted

I wanted the translogic as it was recommended by Bournemouth Kawasaki who run the same kit on James Hillers Zx10r at the IOM TT.
Also when I tested a Panigale, RSV4 and Triumph 675 last year the Triumph OEM quickshifter was by far the best. A reliable source told me Triumph OEM quickshifters are made by Translogic.

Took it out. Thrashed it. Filled it with fuel close to home and parked it up (the 748) probably for the winter now.

Dropped it off at a mechanic friend of mine for clutch friction plates, springs and braided clutch line braided brake lines front and rear and a set of tyres. The seat vinyl is 18 years old and knackered so I dropped it off at an upholsterers yesterday.

Made arrangements to get the track bike switched back to supercorsas for Spain and to pick it up from storage.

Headed out to Newbury, then to Wantage via Chain hill, then up to the AV8 cafe, met up with Mick on his very sexy machine, I have to say that bike is awesome absolutely loved it, Then rode back towards Wantage, quick cuppa before heading down to Hungerford and then headed towards home.
Nice little ride out, and then washed the bike before it gets dark and cold.
