I just did not gel with it I like riding it but was not buzzing when I got off it. I think v twins are just not for me I put it up for sale 3 weeks back for what it was advertised for when I bought it had no interest which I was not fussed about then out of the blue a really nice chap called and bought it today for what I paid for it. I have enjoyed it but I want to be grinning like a kid in a fun fair when I ride And it just did not do that for me.
"80mph" sorry officer I possibly could not have done that I'm no Valentino Rossi.

I know where you are going from to be honest, rocket.
Its a fun bike to ride but i'm not sure its a thrilling bike to ride.
Great as a second bike maybe.

RSV4 or I've been wasting my time for the last 3 weeks seriously though mate the gixer is a good but ordinary bike the RSV4 is an absolute weapon.rocket wrote:just not sure what to get next ... sensible head says a gsxr750 but I really want to try a Rsv4
Test ride one and I guarantee the decision will be made for you within minutes of leaving the dealers.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Took it out for an observed ride. Didn't go very far today just very local roads. This was a brush up and see where I was. I am learning my mistakes now and know where I can improve which was totally different from 10 months ago where I just rode! Got marked down for decision making from my own admittance, not necessarily bad or unsafe just on hidesite I realised I could of just done something different instead. Live and learn! Think the 675cc fest is still in me a bit... hahaha

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Went off to the IAM observed ride today. Was reallly annoying, because I was with another associate who had problems with his tyre pressure sensor so kept on stopping. Think my riding suffered because of this. The observer tried to help the guy and even had a puncture repair kit (not needed) and an electric pump which was used hut not needed! Anyway prob only rode around 40 miles if that but manage to take 3 hours!! Haha! Poor bloke hope he gets it sorted. I'm really unsure about all this technology, it's go I g to go wrong and when it does I'm.sure it's all pricey...I'm quite happy with simple electrics in my vehicle!!

Good breakfast ride to Wallop for a nice nose bag, then onto Mudeford Quay for ice cream, very nice indeed. Was very foggy this morning, with a little chill, but warmed up nicely, with plenty of sunshine.

You wouldn't regret getting an RSV4, not that I'm biased but for me the best bike on the road and the best soundingduke63 wrote:Go for the RSV4.
