Re: Dainese 1 Piece
I'm with you on that one.
I've walked out of a few places when I've been treated like that. It's my cash and I decide where I spend it. If the sales staff can't at least pretend to be interested then I can't be bothered to pass on my hard earned.

Re: Dainese 1 Piece
My wife and I seem to work as a team.
I'm the one who barters and looks for deals when we're buying. She can't ask for a discount or a deal. I have no trouble with it.
My wife will take stuff back and demand her money back. I'm likely to throw stuff away or leave it to rot somewhere in the house.

Re: Dainese 1 Piece
Totally agree was talking to some mates about this the other day and they wonder why people are turning to the net. There's been very bike shops in the uk were I have got any type of customer service. It like they are doing you a favor letting you buy goods from them.
I went to get geared in Leeds the other day and got a bit of advice and help with the product I bought I paid more than I could have got it for else were but I am not bothered. I got the right product that fits and works.

Re: Dainese 1 Piece
Great Geared Leeds are very good. I wrote a review for them in the dealers section last week.
When there was a problem they even rang me a few days later to check I was happy and everything was OK.

Re: Dainese 1 Piece
My dainese pro-tech is 14 years old and size 52. I remember barely being able to get it on when I bought it but then it looked like I was carrying a sack of spuds round in my arse after a couple years.....leathers were loose too.
Got the arse taken in and inner thighs re-stitched and it's still going strong. As for chest stretch, I was probably 11.5st when I got it and 14 now. It's pretty tight but no worse than when I bought it.
I like the Laguna suit

Cheers Jimmy. I weight 11st 4 lb and 5'11" so not a million miles away.
If I have time tomorrow I'm going to try and try the 50 and 52 on again.

Re: Dainese 1 Piece
Just got the suit now.
Been into town to the Dainese store and tried all sizes on and both sales rep suggested the 52 in the end which I felt happiest with too.
They did a price match too, which I m really chuffed and suprised at too as they normally want to sell at retail as its a flagship Dainese store and it was a mega cheeky price.
Chuffed to bits wanted this suit since I got into bikes so I'm a very happy boy today.

Re: Dainese 1 Piece
Exactly what I thought as very very cheeky price which was even undercutting the European discount stores like fc.moto and motocard.
I'm glad they did it too as they were helpful so would prefer to give a local store with good service my business.

Re: Dainese 1 Piece
Did you go for the Laguna in the end?
Hmmm..may phone them up tommorow to price match the one you bought, that's a steal....
I'm usually a 52, so will be buying blind.
