Nothing major, nothing drastic, I think this bike's journey to perfection is going to be a slow and steady one. And today it begins with Bar-End Mirrors.
After scouring the internet for ages, not finding anything that I could set my mind on, leaving it a few months, looking again, almost giving up and then having one last search I came across the Streetfighter model from Oberon.
My options had been limited due to the Zed having a screw thread that the bar ends screw into. The majority of mirrors I've seen come with an expanding collet to fit into hollow handlebars. (It's since come to my attention that I may have been able to remove these collets and been fine, but that's not definite. )
Anyhoo, these came with just an Allen bolt to screw directly in. Given the choice of M8 or M6 bolts, I bravely guesstimated at M8 and thankfully was correct.
Onto the mirrors then, enough of my rambling.

Apologies for the state of the background, at the moment the wheelie bins are my workbench!
They're pretty small, I imagine they'll take some getting used to, but sat on the bike the front seems so much more...open? Like I have more room or better vision or something.
I can only tell for sure once I've been out on it for a test run. Once I've done that I'll Loctite the final grub screws to make sure everything is in place and secure.
The quality seems good and what mirror there is is very clear.
One mod down!
