Re: What are you doing today ??
I'm sure I'll find time to spend a little quality time with a model at some point over the duration of the show , Simon can watch the shop for a few hrs . To be honest its probably going to end up costing me a small fortune , unless we sell a couple of hundred prints , but I think in terms of exposure it could well be priceless and you have to aim high if you want to reach the top , I'm not afraid of putting in the hours or the investment ( when I have it ) because I have belief in the abilities of myself and Simon to make a proper go of it , we are getting quite well known now and have some impressive credits (imo) and even if it doesn't work out like I hope it's been great fun and I've met some fantastic people and made some good friends, the way I look at it I can't lose , except financially and thats never really bothered me

One of the main electric lines in the building has gone, which means I've got no power to charge up my laptop. So I'll be hot desking this afternoon. Joy.

Undergoing a training course for our Logistics Information Technology System.
It's pretty boring. Manageable, but boring.
Then the antiquated system shuts down and saves precisely none of my previous 3 hours of work. No evidence to say I've done it, nothing.
It's going to be a long afternoon!

Trawling the web trying to find a house.
Can't find anything even close to what we need. And prices seem to have soared

Re: What are you doing today ??
Last night I finished off gear cleaning - jacket like new, and leathers are now washed, treated and protected, also look like new. I used the cleaning kit that came free with my dainese leathers some years ago, done a great job.
Next to tackle will be the bike
later this week.

I didn't think people cleaned their kit.
I'm going to wait for spring to come before I wash my stuff.

^^ Ha ha You want to hope you can get out of them, will be an uncomfortable sleep lol

To be honest if they were just a little grubby I would have been the same, but these were really muddy, even the ride from hell down the M4 did not shift it. Hence why I did the full clean up, "If a jobs worth doing, its worth doing well"Kwacky wrote:I didn't think people cleaned their kit.
