I spent the day riding mountain bikes with motors...

....did you know, a 'low powered' electric mountain bike has more torque than my ZX6R? Talk about embarrassing

How did you like them compared to a regular MTB??
I've only ridden an electric bicycle a few times, up and down the street, quite some time ago....I don't recall being particularly impressed, TBH.

They're great on climbs obviously but descending can be very different. The good ones descend better (faster, confident and agile yet planted) but bad ones descend like a lead balloon.. cumbersome, heavy and dull

I was at a work seminar at some offices in Leeds last weekend. Huge building over three floors, and we were just occupying one lecture theatre.
Apart from myself and the other 20 or so delegates, the place was virtually empty. In mitigation it was the weekend, but the heating was on full so it was uncomfortably hot. I asked about having it turned down, and were told that wasn't possible as it was controlled remotely. When I pointed out that it must be even more unbearable when the building was fully occupied during the week, I was told "you just cool it down by using the air conditioning like we do".
Is it just me,,,

We've got the whole household in the garden preparing for planting peas, repairing the new turf and a little bit of bike prep too.

Off to the garden centre shortly so I'll probably force a cake and coffee break then. Very important.
