Re: What ails you today?
My knees have been playing up. Lots of pain under load on the outside of them. I've been for a physio session this evening and been given some exercises to do. The good news is there's nothing damaged.
I'll crack on with my exercises, hopefully get my strength and stability back and start going back to the gym

Tell me you're getting old without telling me...Kwacky wrote: ↑06 Nov 2024, 21:28 My knees have been playing up. Lots of pain under load on the outside of them. I've been for a physio session this evening and been given some exercises to do. The good news is there's nothing damaged.

I don't have to tell anyone
To be honest I was a bit worried my knees had called it a day. A few hundred thousand miles on sports bikes and a few years doing martial arts will have taken its toll. But the physio assessment was encouraging.
I'm sure I'll start falling apart soon enough

Re: What ails you today?
I’ve been catching up on a lot of pruning and other yard work. I feel ok doing it and then the next morning wake up like I’ve been in a tumble dryer. Definitely falling apart era approachingKwacky wrote: ↑07 Nov 2024, 09:45 I don't have to tell anyone

Re: What ails you today?
I'm trying out/using my new blood-pressure-machine-thing today.
I'm going to be using it every morning and keeping track of the readings on a calendar, see if my meds need a stronger dosage (likely) or not.
I also need to be altering my diet a tad.
Or so my doctor says...but seriously, wtf does he know, eh??

Man flu
Eye is all gummed up and a headache that won’t lift. Body aches and sinus congestion.
Was supposed to be on course today but I actually past the exam and practicals yesterday. Today was for resit/re-assess if you messed up. 3 of us passed first time. So day off for me, of course I get sick

Re: What ails you today?
Well funny you should say that cause she worked an extra shift last week to get Friday off knowing there was a good chance I’d pass on Thursday and have the day off too. But both myself and her daughter were crook and she said she still felt like she was at work. But she didn’t put on her scrubs

Feeling a bit better today after sleeping most the day

Re: What ails you today?
I took a mental health day yesterday. I got to drop my eldest at pre-school before getting my mountain bike loaded and heading to the forest for 3 hours of bliss.
Much like riding on the race track, when you're pelting between trees at 42mph over roots and jumps, there is nothing else going on in your mind.

Get an enduro bike and hit the lanes, you get all of the above and you don't have to peddle.. lol..Cav wrote:Much like riding on the race track, when you're pelting between trees at 42mph over roots and jumps, there is nothing else going on in your mind.
