Surprisingly easy to set everything up, including a fair few apps.

Re: What are you doing today ??
being completely amazing by the stupidity of the US gun laws and mentality.
My 23 yr old nephew is working with a bunch of gun mad people, apparently 15-20 weapons each. He's been out range shooting and hunting a fair bit with them so decided to get his own.
What did he get? AR15 assault rifle and a tactical 9mm pistol, brand new for a total of $1400.
When I asked him why he needed that, he replied "Oh, I absolutely don't NEED it, but it will be fun at the range and the squirrels are going to be in trouble!"
No licence needed, just a quick background check. And after an online application and a few days wait, now has a Handgun Concealed Carry permit.

My Wife has brought me to London, child-free, for a night watching James Acaster. I may or may not be 30 tomorrow

Re: What are you doing today ??
Went for a walk in the country, almost exactly 6 miles on my phone, 5.6 on my mates, both using the Strava app to track the walk, curious how the 2 phones tracked different distances.
Met a couple of horses and saw a Red Kite from about 10 feet, they're pretty big that close.
Then started planning this years trip, Spain by ferry from Plymouth to Santander. We are trying to decide weather to spend 3 days touring up through France to the tunnel or just get the boat back from Santander.

Re: What are you doing today ??
There's definitely something going around, I had a couple of days off a couple of weeks ago, I had no energy at all for 2 days and took a week to get back to normal. Hope she get's well soon and doesn't pass it on.
Made a mistake booking the ferry tickets, I used the current account rather than the credit card and now have £80 for the next 2 weeks... Dipsh*t...

I know it doesn't help now, but it's worth looking into curve. It's an online banking app for your phone.Stonesie wrote:There's definitely something going around, I had a couple of days off a couple of weeks ago, I had no energy at all for 2 days and took a week to get back to normal. They have a trick where you can register both credit and debit card with their app, you then use their card to pay for things. In turn it passed the payment on to your real cards, as a bonus they have a feature "Go back in time" where you can switch a payment between cards.
I had an unrecognised payment over Christmas, reported it and they refunded the payment (no questions asked) in a chiller if days.
