Gave it a once-over and lubed the chain ready for tomorrows ride up in to the Yorkshire Dales, should be a fun one.

Re fitted the standard exhaust, it might sound good enough or might reduce fatigue on longer rides... I'm getting old

Took the sx to stow for some cake and a catch up with a few slappers. It was nice to see you all.

Yes good to see a few faces again. Decent weather in the end and nice to get a few good miles under the bike.
Bikes are just great as are the people who ride them.

Took it to BMW Rotherham for it's service, no issues found and a fresh sump full of oil to keep the warranty happy, it was a cold, wet and windy morning but I still enjoyed the ride.
Tomorrow or Monday I will change the chain and air filter ready for it's Dyno session on Tuesday.

A good ride to Stow to meet fellow Slappers, catch up with Jack, great to see you mate. Major detours on the way home, get a few more miles under the belt on my very own transformer... "Mini Bumblebee" lol.
Wet muddy start to the ride, dry and sunny ride home. Need this time to adjust to the riding style on this compared to the S1. I have to work a bit less to make it turn lol...Feels very sharp already, cant wait until I can give it the beans.
I am knackered now!

Took it for some new tyres...
When you get the question "how many miles did you get out of your rear", the answer in this case is a few too many Now looking better (all be it a bit dirty), but I'm not sure which way was worse. riding to the tyre place in the rain on a shot tyre or the ride back in the rain on new tyres..

Took it in for a service and a couple of recalls. Bloody horrible weather this morning, windy, heavy rain, and crap all over the roads.
Wasn't too disappointed with the loan bike to get me home.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Looks like there could be a review incoming?
Today I tested my new Garmin XT, managed to stuff up my route a little after sharing it with my friends but as they had nominated me to lead they had to follow anyway, 150 miles around the back roads of Derbyshire with a coffee break at The Carding Shed, dinner at the Black Bull in Monyash (The old Smithy tea room is VERY popular with bikers, but we didn't want a half hour que for a coffee so went next door) then back up to Langsett reservoir to say goodbyes as they headed back to Leeds while I headed off through Barnsley and home again.

The MV is charged and ready to roll.
It's due an annual service. I'll book it in when I can be arsed.

Tried to spank the Pantigirdle for an hour in the Cotswolds but to many cars on the roads so was a very frustrating ride

Cleaned and dried it then added another coat of Gtechniq C2, it will keep it shiny for another 6 months or so.
