I'd be interested to find out....it doesn't look like it "does" anything, but it must serve some purpose.

officially its deflector to keep rainwater off and push cool air on to the rear tyre , unofficially it provides downforce on the rear and improves tyre grip .

This is almost what I've been asking for for many years. Just needs another 30 BHP, 2 more cylinders and a 21k lower price. Nearly there (giggle)
