Re: What you watching?
I was a bit disappointed with Discovery to be honest. Too much emotion going on, people crying very 5 minutes, Burnham finding exactly the right thing to say after spending most of the hearing let her mouth run riot.
Less of the soppy shite and more frickin lasers please.

Agreed - its not as good as previous series yet.Kwacky wrote:I was a bit disappointed with Discovery to be honest. Too much emotion going on, people crying very 5 minutes, Burnham finding exactly the right thing to say after spending most of the hearing let her mouth run riot.

Re: What you watching?
With the introduction of Netflix to the Itchy House, we spent some time browsing the trailers before deciding on giving DCs Titans a whirl.
My son really likes Teen Titans Go on the cartoon channels and seemed quite eager to try it, as did the rest of us.
It's decent enough, we're 4 episodes in and all enjoying it, but Christ, the 15 rating is fairly awarded. Finn's only 11 but we thought "how bad can it be?" which, in hindsight and alongside the warnings from Netflix about the content (including sex, violence, drug use, child abuse, fear etc...) was maybe a mistake.
4 episodes in and we've already seen someone get stabbed in the wiener, someone's face ground into broken glass and a demon liquefy someone's internal organs.
It's pretty dark.
Still gonna finish watching it though!

Re: What you watching?
I started reading that and my brain was screening "IT'S NOT TEEN TITANS"
It's really good but it's certainly adult themed.

Yes, I had to cover the boys eyes during a sex scene!Kwacky wrote:I started reading that and my brain was screening "IT'S NOT TEEN TITANS"

We've also had to have a chat about the language. It's a little bluer than I was expecting, (I know, I sound very old!) but I've said to him as long as I don't hear it coming out of his mouth we won't have a problem.
Mother f****r!

Re: What you watching?
Finished the first series of Bloodline. Not bad viewing. The last couple of episodes help tie in what's been going on. Ben Mendelsohn (Rogue One) is really good in it.

Just finished S4 of the Crown. Very well written indeed.
Prince Charles comes out of this series very badly indeed.

So much so that a UK Minister has asked Netflicks to confirm publically that it's a fictional show. Fecking hilarious!

Re: What you watching?
A documentary about Prince, Tom Petty, etc.
I'm guessing today's theme is "dead guys."
