Re: What are you doing today ??
Been on the phone to Sky today.
I wanted to upgrade our broadband as the kids are always on it, and it can make online gaming problematic, especially when I'm trying to get a win in Warzone!
Anyways, by pricing it up online I would've saved 6 quid, but I wasn't sure if we'd retain the phone package (the missus is always on the phone to her mum so we need it), couldn't find any details so had to ring up.
Instead of saving £6 I only saved £2, but instead of only getting the faster broadband, I also got Multiroom, Netflix, and daily line checks as well.
I know its not the deal of the century, we're still paying Sky a lot of money every month, but I do feel quite happy about it all.

I'm also stopping up late to wait for my son to fall asleep so I can do the tooth fairy thing.
I went in at 2315 but he was still awake, he almost busted me trying to do the sleight of hand tooth/money swap shenanigans.
It's almost an hour later, he's got to be asleep.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Success!
My joy in successfully navigating my way through my bedroom, the landing and his room without stepping on anything painful or making any noise (apart from the conveniently loud floorboard located all too close to his bed) was only slightly marred by the realisation that I'm clutching what only hours ago was a part of my child's skull!
Which is now hiding in my pants drawer.
Enjoy your breakfast!

Woke up about 6 in pain with my shoulder.
Fell asleep about 9 for an hour.
Took my son to boxing for a 1on 1 session.
That's my day. I'm also bored.

i'm still doing two jobs, and now the dayshift in one area is going to our unmanned platform for two days, so I'll have 2 shifts worth of work in one role plus another role to worry about

Re: What are you doing today ??
Late start to the day, but got a bit done.
Put up 4 pictures in the girls room, including hooks..
Modified a replacement bag for the leaf blower to fit, can't buy direct replacements any more.
Booked a 4 day break over new year under the assumption we can go.
Did an hour on the turbo trainer
Popped to the local shop for bits for tonight's dinner, curry.
Looking forward to a sit down.

Nothing. I just want to go out on the bike and meet some mates, or to the gym, or watch some football at the ground, or have a night out in the pub.

Re: What are you doing today ??
I did some situps and pushups this morning, now sat browsing Youtube and looking at the sunny/wet/windy weather.
Legally going for a ride is outdoor recreation, which is allowed as long as social distancing is obayed... Maybe if it dries up.
Also chatting to Phil my neighbour with the Black SX, he has agreed to trade it in for a 2016 R1200GS... I want to take the piss, but I rode one the other year and know they are actually cracking bikes. I would still take the RS though, in 1250 flavour. The 1200RS dash is the thing which kept me from buying one the other year.

Re: What are you doing today ??
I've got my CFS telephone appointment today, it's my 2 month check-in. We mostly discuss methods to manage fatigue and also anxiety (which I'm on meds for) but I feel terrible and terribly anxious because I've not been practicing mindfulness and barely any of the things we discussed because I've felt super low since the last one.
I want to cancel but I know I shouldn't.

Cancelling is the last thing you want to do. That's the anxiety dominating your thought process.

Today's fun on twitter is me being educated how Johnson is advised by Communists, Brexit won't happen and how the UK will soon be under the control of China.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Today, organising for stuff to be fixed.
The toilet cistern started leaking overnight, quite a bit, and I can't see where from and don't have the time or inclination to go fiddling round the back of a 15+ year old crapper.
The MacBook has also decided that it doesn't want to work properly anymore. Again lack of time and inclination so someone else can fix it for me.
Feck I'm lazy

I just got off the phone to the lovely lady anyway, I'm glad I didn't cancel.
