The meat was ham, or something that was suppose to be ham. Tasted like rubber so it all went in the bin. I’ve eaten one out of 6 dinner meals so far.

Re: What are you eating ??
Timing... dinner turned up as I was typing that.
Steak, wedges and broccoli... the broccoli was the only edible thing. Wedges were mush and steak was that tough and dry the plastic knife broke.
But chocolate cake!!

At the prices they're charging you know they can afford to bring in a real chef.

I actually think it’s ok when it’s served up. But all the meals are getting made at the casino, 30 mins away. So you can imagine 6-700 meals all packed together for at least an hour really f**ks with the quality once it gets to us.Kwacky wrote:At the prices they're charging you know they can afford to bring in a real chef.

A. You can’t order any food to be delivered hereD41 wrote:Next time, just order a pizza instead.kiwikrasher wrote:The meat was ham, or something that was suppose to be ham. Tasted like rubber so it all went in the bin. I’ve eaten one out of 6 dinner meals so far.
B. I have a yeast intolerance so even if I could it would cause me severe cramps and runs.

So....no bread?? Or very little & if so, how much??
The reason I ask is, I tried a "protein wrap" cheeseburger a while back, and it was feckin' great - very pleasantly surprised.
Not sommit I'd order every time, but still very good all the same.

Re: What are you eating ??
I can handle a bit of bread or a burger bun as long as I stay away from anything really doughy or mixed with melted dairy. When cheese/butter melts and oil separates out and that mixed with yeast totally wrecks me, so even one slice of pizza, even thin crust is enough to bring me unstuck.D41 wrote:kiwikrasher wrote:

Garlic bread or cheesy rolls are the same. But a rye bread or milk bun seems ok in moderation. Wraps seem to be ok.
Beer now kills me, but cider is ok. Found out recently a lot of ciders use natural yeasts on the apple skins to ferment rather than added yeast like beer so it may be that makes a difference.
