I put a couple of layers of polish on today.
Expected it to be shinier.
Maybe I'll put some more on tomorrow.

Got it!
But it was buried in there well, just behind the boot on the wiring to the left of the intake hole.
All back together and polished again

Stripped the lining out of my helmet and put it in the washing machine. It stank.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Had a F*** Sake moment.
As I walked past it in the garage, spotted something in the tread of the rear tyre and tried to move it on towards the bin, it's stuck in pretty tight and kinda mushy. Psssssssss Oh FFS it's a sticky string puncture repair, it's sealed again for now but I bloody hate those things, fine for a farmer's trailer, but not for a 170 mph bike.
Might have to get it to Doncaster Motorcycles to see if they can fit a mushroom plug.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Took the back wheel out and dropped it off at Doncaster Motorcycles, they are busy so I left it with them to see if it's possible to replace the sticky string puncture repair with a proper one, if not then it will have to be a new tyre.
I'm going to remove the eccentrics and make sure that they are clean and greased, might even grease the rear shock linkage while it's all apart, depends how bored I get.
Edit
I did some painting on the footer around the house rather than mess with the suspension, the tyre is repaired and all cleaned under there then put back together
Even cleaned behind the sprocket

Your indicators appear to be near my nipple height.. how are they so far away from your rear wheel?Blade wrote:

But my OCD agrees with Perks, the Ducati symbol is upside down.

It's only upside from the front of the bike... it's the right way up from the back of the bike. It's quick enough that people will only be viewing it from behind anyway!

Nothing left to do the bikes now, other than fit the Optimate lead to the ST3 that arrived today.
On to cleaning the boots and leathers next.

Mine does too, but I kinda like the "asymmetry" of stuff like that.Perkles wrote:they are very nice but my OCD says they are upside downBlade wrote:
