So I've arrived at work in my lightweight textiles, to be told today we are having torrential rain and thunderstorms.
Looks like i'm giving the rain mode and new boots a good test.
Glad I kept the dogs inside with all the thunder storms too.

Doh!
Never leave home without checking the weather several times...
Rain mode is awesome though, never thought I'd like rider aids, but knowing the 160bhp is tamed and not trying to kill me at every bend is lovely. The blipper makes a massive difference to, no more wondering if I'll lock the rear on a downshift.

Out of interest did your lightweight keep some of the rain off at least? But defo get the met office app installed. Just give it a check for your route eg towns you are riding through in the morning. People moan about the weatherman but actually the met office app is pretty decent
