Re: What do you want to vent about today?
Literally just finished doing jobs and really hot and sweaty as most of the jobs have been outside in the scorching heat.
The wife is putting the kids to bed, so I made myself 2 new drinks as a tasting session, walked down to the swing seat at the bottom of the garden to cool down, chill out and enjoy a nice drink and just as my bum touches the seat it starts RAINING

Difficult, Cookie but she comes first. I had to sell the Donington day because of Alison's eye op.

And on top of the hangover, there is a f**king Country Music festival started 50m from the apartment and the coffee I got from an Italian coffee shop is f**king terrible and weak as shite (ordered a double shot). Jess ordered a Mocha and seems it’s just a hot chocolate. If you can’t trust an Italian to make good coffee what’s going on in the world!!

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
Found a collie running down our road by the pub. Almost got hit 3 or 4 times (no joke thought we would be having hot dogs tonight!) Anyway there was a woman and a little boy and they denied all knowledge of the dog they were CLEARLY pikies themselves. I had to grab it (which took forever and had to stop lots of cars) and I asked this woman a handful of times - sure it's not your dog? As it was following them. The people were pikies and kept saying - no no no, not ours etc etc. Anyway I said fine I'll deal with it and managed to grab the dog. Little boy then says its patch he lives by us, woman says to him stop shut up etc etc and walks off
Couldn't believe her total denial of this lovely dog - not trained in the slightest but was lovely.
Then a couple with 3 little kids cycled past and said that's patch he lives on the piky area and he escapes all the time especially when they are doing a BBQ, they would of taken the dog back but they were cycling.
Then bumped into 2 local teens (who I kinda know) said yea from the piky area but they were running it up and down the road last night.
My misses tried a handful of times to call the owner but no answer
So we have taken him to our local vets.
That dog was lovely. Proper wanted to keep him. Maybe if the owners dont claim him the vets will hand him to us haha!
I had to pick him up and put him into my car. But as I was taking him out he bolted and fell out. He started to whimper I gave him a big fuss. He was only a pup. He seemed to trust me more than anyone else.
I was not prepared to walk willingly onto piky turf. I used to live right by pikies and I know what they do, you walk in with no issues you come out battered and bruised, they have no regard for animals (people or otherwise) (not for a sunday afternoon thanks) police are useless for controlling them so not willing to put myself at risk
Told the local vets and they said fully understand mate wouldn't go there either. They will check over the dog and see what's going on
How can someone not realise their dog is missing

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
Going onto pikies why do we have them?
Why cant we get old fashioned policing back, get them over their batter the sh!t out of them and chuck them down a massive hole
A few days ago these pikies threatened an old lady brought down a caravan and set alight to it and walked off.
They are animals the fecking lot of them

Perhaps he's just a communal dog? A stray dog among stray people.

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
Its rained since 7pm Friday night, non-stop.
It stops at 6am Monday morning.
Looks like the first half of August is going to be fairly wet too.
